Sea Ray 390

The SEA RAY 390 EXPRESS CRUISER was one of the most popular models in the shipyard’s history, as well as being perhaps the best-known Express Cruiser in the world. The 390 is built with a deep V hull, which ensures a smooth and reliable ride. The 390 went out of production in 1992, replaced by the 400 Express Cruiser which remained in production until 2000, before being replaced in turn by the even larger and more contemporary styled Sea Ray 41 Express Cruiser.

The SEA RAY 390 “MOON CHILD IX” is equipped with 2 cabins and 1 bathroom with separate shower cubicle. In 2015 the engines were overhauled, and the hydraulic gangway was fitted, while a new generator was added in 2014. In 2010 it underwent a general refit, which included the following interventions: replacement of all on-board systems (boilers, pumps, bathroom pipes, bilge pumps); installation of new fridge, freezer, satellite dish and 2 TVs, 1500W stereo system (cabin, cockpit and bow) and internal LED lighting. Flexiteek installation in the cockpit. “MOON CHILD IX” is also equipped with oversized shafts in Aquamet® 22 with no-drop seals and 4-blade Mikado propellers, verified with the Propscan system, and spare shaft. The stern swimming platform, made in the USA especially for the Sea Ray 390, was added by the current owner. “MOON CHILD IX” is finally equipped with air conditioning, ice maker, microwave, electric hob, external speakers, swim ladder.
