The Mangusta 80 Open by Overmarine has been considered the Open “par excellence” due to its large outdoor spaces, excellent performances, as well as for its captivating design that is still contemporary. The Mangusta 80 guarantees extraordinary cruising performances in terms of power and stability, with high-end finishings. Inside, the Mangusta 80 is carefully crafted and elegantly finished; the living room is imposing and truly surprising, furnished with comfortable seatings for several guests. Therefore, the Mangusta 80 Open is a complete motor yacht, with great seakeeping capabilities and surprising performances, as well as the same liveability as a large motor yacht with Flying Bridge.

This unit is in excellent overall conditions, with extraordinary upgrades and maintenance works carried out as from 2019, such as: total polishing of the hull and deck, zeroed hull, balancing of Rolla thrusters. In 2018, drive caps were overhauled and replaced; in 2016 and 2014 both engines were overhauled and upgraded to 2000 HP and in 2005 new elegant oak interiors were installed, carefully planned by the builder. History

It was 1985 when the Balducci family founded the Mangusta brand, choosing a symbolic and prophetic name. At that time, the reference brand for fast open boats was Tecnomarine’s Cobra. A primacy that the Balduccis want to challenge by adopting the name of the mongoose, the only animal in the world capable of facing and defeating the cobra. Thus were born Elettromare, Effebi and, then, Overmarine Group. A family owned and run group, which is now in its second generation, with the children Maurizio and Katia Balducci. Mangusta begins his journey by immediately revolutionizing the world of yachting. The Mangusta 80 was launched in the 1990s. Until then, the “open” had never reached a length of 80 feet. The 80 was a resounding success, a model that has left a mark on history and that has made the brand known worldwide. Thus was born the concept of Maxi Open. In 2016 the first three bridges of the new Mangusta Oceano line are put into the water: displacement boats with great autonomy for those who want to travel the world in style, whatever the destination or the distance. The GranSport line has recently been added, boats that combine great performance and transoceanic autonomy.
