DRAGONFLY 1200

The DRAGONFLY 1200, designed by Børge and Jens Quorning, features two side hulls with good buoyancy and a voluminous central hull equipped with spray rails. These spray rails reduce the wetted surface area, provide additional lift at high speeds, and increase interior volume. Quorning Boats’ trimarans are also renowned for their “swing wing” system, which allows the side hulls to fold against the central hull in just 32 seconds, reducing the “berth width” to that similar to monohulls of the same length. The Dragonfly 1200 has a fractional rig dominated by a large mainsail, but the real advantage of the multihull is enjoyed on deck, with a useful surface area of 70 square meters.  The 1200 is a trimaran for those who love to fly over the water without giving up comfortable cruising, featuring two double cabins, a bathroom, and a spacious dinette.

The 1200 is equipped with: a portable generator, Webasto heating, 2 electric winches, autopilot, Raymarine electronics, an owner’s aft cabin, a gas stove, oven and refrigerator, and cotton upholstery. In 2024, a laminated Code 0 sail was added. VIEW BROCHURE
