The CANARD 41 MKII “TSUNAMI” is an elegant Fast Cruiser with dark metal grey hull currently being repainted, open stern, carbon mast painted in white, composite bulkheads and carbon rudder. “TSUNAMI” was IMS world champion in Corinthian class after winning the IMS World Championshiop 2004. The CANARD 41 is a Fast Cruiser designed by Massimo Paperini’s Duck Design studio and is a boat dedicated to those who want to have fun racing, but love the thrill of speed even while cruising. The CANARD 41 is characterized by an open stern, soft lines, rounded deckhouse and rigidity of the hull. The sail area of 97sqm (excluding the spinnaker) and a displacement of 6.55 tons make it explosive in light winds and reliable in sustained wind conditions. The excellent rigidity of the CANARD 41 structure guarantees good performance even with waves and fresh wind.
