The Marina of Cala Galera was built during the Seventies and, throughout time, it has become one of the most chrming marinas of Tuscanian coast, both for its location in an area with several coves and bay with beautiful beaches a few miles away from Giannutri and Giglio islands, as well as near Orbetello, Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano. The Marina of Cala Galera offers several high-quality services, and it is also the headquarter of the Circolo Nautico e della Vela Argentario (CNVA), a historic yacht club that organizes the oldest Italian offshore regatta. There are also cafeterias, restaurants, food shops, stores and WCs with showers.

The Marina of Cala Galera is easy to reach by car from all the main Central Italian cities, moreover it is a great landing spot to sail across the Argentario and the islands of Tuscanian archipelago. From the Marina of Cala Galera it is possible to reach Corsica by sailing past Giglio, Elba and Montecristo islands.

The Marina of Cala Galera is made by a breakwater pier and an under-billow pier, and it offers a full-fledged boat assistance thanks to 635 meters of docks and its 12 piers (one of which is a floating pier) that can accommodate yachts up to 50 meters in the 670 berths (60 of which for transit boats).

There is a huge range of services available on-site, such as: travel lift, 2 launching spots, mobile cranes, mechanical workshops, as well as many craftsmen specialized in the boating industry. The Marina of Cala Galera has been awarded the Blue Flag from the Foundation for Environmental Education for a few years; the Blue Flag is awarded to the marinas that comply with strict environmental criteria.
