AMEL 60

The AMEL 60 is a luxury cruiser designed by the renowned duo Berret-Racoupeau, reflecting the evolution of Amel’s philosophy (renowned for building robust and reliable ocean-cruisers), now also elegant and fast. The first unit, built in 2019, was introduced as the successor to the Amel 55 at the Cannes Yachting Festival, featuring an updated design and modern technologies.

The AMEL 60 is characterized by clean lines, a fixed keel, and a straight bow, all contributing to improved sailing performance. The central cockpit, protected by the hardtop —a hallmark of Amel yachts— ensures safe navigation even in challenging conditions, complemented by a fully protected helm station, two windlasses, isolated engine room access, and watertight bulkheads. The helm station is a masterpiece, combining ergonomic functionality with refined details, such as teak inlays and a carbon and teak wheelhouse, which could be considered a work of art. The elegant and spacious interior is designed to comfortably accommodate six people, featuring an Owner’s suite at the stern with a large private bathroom with shower booth and two midship double guest cabins, each with its own bathroom. The layout offers generous relaxation and storage spaces, with high-quality materials and fine wood finishes throughout.

The AMEL 60 has won multiple awards, winner in the “Luxury Cruiser” category at the 2020 European Yacht of the Year awards and “Best Large Monohull 50ft and Above” at the 2020 Sail Best Boats awards.
