ADMIRAL 28

The ADMIRAL 28, crafted by the prestigious Cantieri Navali Lavagna, renowned for their expertise in constructing elegant motor yachts first in wood and later in aluminum, is a luxury motor yacht which in the 1990s became a symbol of Italian nautical excellence. With a length of approximately 27.5 meters and a generous beam of 6.8 meters, she offers spacious areas both above and below deck, making her ideal for long-range cruising. Her aluminum hull ensures both lightness and strength, contributing to high-level performance, supported by powerful and lightweight Caterpillar engines of 1950 HP each, capable of reaching a maximum speed of approximately 29 knots. The interiors, elegant and meticulously detailed, accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 double/triple cabins, enhanced by high-quality finishes such as burr wood and glazed wooden floors, along with comfortable crew quarters. Wide exterior spaces with a double sunbathing area at the bow, a spacious flybridge with custom-made sofas, all while maintaining classic and refined lines. The Admiral 28 is designed to offer maximum comfort, safety and luxury.

Thorough refit 2022-21

The ADMIRAL 28 underwent a general refit in 2022-21, which included the following interventions: replacement of the two Caterpillar engines (currently with only 120 hours), a full overhaul of the propulsion system (gearboxes, drive shafts, new 4-blade thrusters, and a new exhaust gas system with mufflers), installation of two new 28 kW generators and a 2000W inverter, installation of a new water maker (250 liters/hr), two new fridges, overhaul of the air conditioning system with the replacement of two compressors, complete renewal of the electrical system and installation of new Raymarine electronics, with the replacement of all equipment in the interiors and on the flybridge, LED lighting both inside and outside, sanding of the teak deck, overhaul of seacocks, application of underwater hull protection cycles, painting of flybridge furniture, upgrades to the black water system, replacement of bathroom fittings and fixtures, new pressure pump, boiler, curtains, cushions, mattresses for the crew cabins, dishwasher, mini-fridge, and more. In 2020, all 10 batteries were replaced. 

Very well equipped

The ADMIRAL 28 is also equipped with bow thruster, two generators, water maker, hot/cold air conditioning, teak deck, five guest cabins, including an owner’s suite amidships, all with ensuite bathrooms featuring showers booths and bidets, three crew cabins and three bathrooms, separate dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, ice maker, three refrigerators, oven, induction hob). Other features include a hydraulic retractable gangway, hydraulic aft platform, electric retractable davit for the tender, engine room camera, washer-dryer, as well as TV in the salon and all cabins.
