The Bavaria 38 Cruiser offers an agile hull that is also easy to sail. Very livable and responsive. This model was released after the Bavaria 34 Cruiser, with which it has many characteristics in common, and they replaced the old 33 and 37 footers, respectively. Just like for the 34 footer, in the Bavaria 38 too we find most of the new things in the stern area, with the largest cockpit in its category (3.70 meters from the deckhouse to the pushpit) and several portholes and skylights that guarantee high indoor lighting. The Bavaria 38 Cruiser has a traditional indoor layout (two twin stern cabins and bow master cabin) with large spaces, also thanks to a 4 meters max. beam. The Bavaria 38 has a soft and responsive steering systems, without any dragging. Indeed, this model is easy to sail and it is capable of achieving good sailing performance even with very light winds.

This unit, launched in 2004, was made for its only owner with 3 cabins and one large bathroom, suitable for shower too. It is well-equipped with mainsail furler, sprayhood, Bimini-Top and large cockpit table. It is also equipped with a more powerful engine (55 HP instead ot the standard 30 HP).

Bavaria Yachtbau was founded by Winfried Herrman and Josef Meltl in 1978 in Giebelstadt (Bavaria, Germany) and it radically changed th sailing world with sturdy, quality sailboats with an excellent quality-price ration, that allowed the shipyard to become a true innovative leader in the field of mass-produced boats. As from 2001, the shipyard started to manufacture motor boats and it achieved instant success in this market segment too, while in 2014 the company made its debut in the fast-growing catamaran sector with the acquisition of the French builder Nautitech Catamarans. Currently, Bavaria Yachtbau relies on 2 production plants: Germany-based Giebelstadt (600 employees, manufacture of sail and motor boats) and French-based Rochefort (250 employees, manufacture of catamarans). Motor boats production is split in the following lines: R-Line (from 41 to 54 feet); S-Line (from 28 to 45 feet) and Virtress Line (40.7 feet). Sail boats production is split in the following lines: C-Line, designed by Maurizio Cossutti (from 45 to 57 feet); Cruiser Line (from 34 to 41 feet); Cruiser Style (46 and 51 feet); Vision Line (42 and 46 feet) and Easy 9.7. For what concerns catamarans, the production includes Nautitech models from 40 to 54 feet. The ownership of Bavaria Yachtbau officially passed to the Capital Management-Partners GmbH (CMP) in September 2018. View the technical brochure of the Bavaria 38
