Hallberg Rassy 45

The HALLBERG-RASSY 45 is the first Hallberg-Rassy designed by the famous German Frers; 71 units were built between 1988 and 1996. This is a revolutionary model that made the Swedish shipyard achieve huge success, and it is also the first model to be built with Divinycell foam core, which not only insulates from heat and cold, but it also ensures an even sturdier hull. The Hallberg Rassy 45 is a 14-metres sloop with elegant lines and an accurate, solid construction, with well-finished interiors and focused on comfort. This boat can sail in a relaxed and secure way, it is ideal for cruising in total comfort, without any handling issue. Moreover, the HR 45 achieved great success in the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC). The finishing of the Hallberg Rassy 45 is very accurate, both in terms of systems and interior finishing, where the boat is divided in a practical and rational way, suitable for long cruises. The Hallberg-Rassy 45 brings together the signature characteristics of the Swedish shipyard: style, sturdiness, comfort, wise use of wood, as well as an ample fuel and water storage capacity.

This unit is very well kept and equipped with: generator, dual heating system, removable foresail, hydraulic mainsail and jib furler (Reckmann), hydraulic ladder, technical stern pole with radar, sails 2010 and very refined interiors with 2 wide cabins equipped with spacious bathrooms and separate shower enclosures, as well as an ample dinette with two separate armchairs.

The story of the renowned Swedish brand HALLBERG-RASSY began in 1972, when Harry Hallberg and Cristoph Rassy decided to set aside their past rivalry and create what will become one of the most important boating brands worldwide. The first boat born out of their partnership was the Monsum 31, launched in 1974, but it’s only in 1988, when German Frers joined the team as Head of Design, that the shipyard took off. From now on, Hallberg-Rassy boats become the queens of the Cruising sector; not only these boats are safe and suitable for Ocean Sailing, but they are also very performing. Hallberg Rassy manufactured more than 9,400 boats and, currently, 100% of the Group’s companies belong to Rassy family.
