Modello BLUEGAME 47

The Bluegame 47 was an idea of Architect Luca Santella, that created its deck and interior design in collaboration with Lou Codega, with the aim of realizing a “different” boat that had a new and original deck layout for a very marine and functional boat. Bluegame 47 deck is one of a kind, and it stands out for its wide spaces dedicated to outdoor life, as well as for the great stern-to-bow agility. In its “Walkaround” layout, that allows to walk around the control station, the Bluegame 47 has two sideways protected by high sides. The C-shaped saloon can host up to 6/8 people and it also has a small fold-away galley area. The control station is furnished with a 2/3 seats sofa, while in the deckhouse there is a second sundeck. Even if the type of deck might suggest that the Bluegame 47 is ideal for outdoor living, indoor volumes are impressive and can guarantee on-board privacy. Rich in details, such as the T-Top equipped with a sundeck, electric warping winches, steel cable clamps with pulleys, carbon tender crane, the interior sides of the cockpit are designed to accommodate a fishing rods holder and a boat hook. For what concern performances, the Bluegame 47 smoothly reaches 38 knots and can also rely on a good cruising range or approx. 31.5 knots. The rudder of the Bluegame 47 guarantees ease of handling, with a small turning circle and high side stability.

History

The history of Bluegame began in 1999, when Architect and Sailing Olympic Champion Luca Santella upon request of the owner of a maxi sailing yacht he used to race with, designed a one-of-a-kind motoryacht suitable for short cruises with friends, as well as for fishing trips, sunbathing, and as a tender for its maxi yacht: Luja 55’. It was a boat that distanced itself from all traditional shapes, with a totally innovative space managements. It was exhibited at 2002 Monaco Yacht Show and it immediately achieved great success, also thanks to the interest of finance tycoon, and former offshore champion Carlo Bonomi.

Models and collaborations

By refining the concepts of the Luja 55, in 2004 the first Bluegame was produced: a 47-footer (14.50 mt) designed together with Lou Codega, renowned naval architect that signed several successful projects, such as: the Carolina Classic 25 with deep V-shaped keel; Cabo 45 and Destriero 224, built by Fincantieri and winner of the Blue Ribbon Trophy, that belonged by Gianni Agnelli and Prince Karim Aga Khan. In 2018 a new chapter of Bkuegame brand began, with the acquisition by Sanlorenzo group that opened many growth opportunities to the shipyard, also thanks to the collaboration with Zuccon International Project Studio, that designed several award-winning Sanlorenzo models (such as SL 56 Steel, SL 96, SL102, SX76, SD96 e 44 Alloy). Together with Zuccon Studio, Bluegame designed the Bluegame 42, Bluegame 62 and Bluegame BGX70. In 2019, Bluegame and Zuccon Studio started to work on the restyling of two historical models produced by the shipyard: BG40’ and BG60’. Bluegame boats are described as “Sport Utility Boats” and are dedicated to those who love the sea at 360° but do not want to give up on anything.
