Modello BENETEAU 50

Designed by Bruce Farr, the BENETEAU 50 is a 15 mt cruiser in between the First 53f5 and the Oceanis 510. From the First, the Beneteau 50 took the powerful hull ines, charaterised by a waterline only slightly slower than the overall length, as well as by rounded sections from the middle of the boat to the stern and narrow bow lines. For what concerns the Oceanis, the Beneteau 50 shares the same practical solutions for the deck plan and a balanced distribution of interiors, paramount for charter (this model is very popular for charter indeed). The deck of the Beneteau 50 is very functional and ergonomic, with solutions aimed at optimizing the use of spaces and easiness of movement even for people with limited or no experience at sea.

Cantiere BENETEAU

The historic French shipyard Bénéteau was founded in 1884 in Croix de Vie by Benjamin Bénéteau. At the very beginning, the shipyard manufactured fishing boats called chalutiers. Since the ‘60s, the shipyard started to produce pleasure boats and it has now become the undisputed world leader in the manufacture of sailboats, as well as one of the top five manufacturers of motor yachts in th world. In the 90s, a business strategy aimed at acquiring several important shipyards led to the creation of Bénéteau Group. Among the most prestigious acquisitions we find the following brands: CNB (production of yachts between 60’ and 94’); Jeanneau (sailboats); Prestige line (motor yachts) Lagoon (very famous brands for catamarans) and Monte Carlo Yachts (motor yachts between 65’ and 105’).
