History

Cantieri Navali del Tevere is an historical shipyard of the Roman seaside and a reference point for the nautical pole of the Lazio region since 1964. Since then its core business is the restoration and refitting of historical wooden boats. Nevertheless, Cantieri Navali del Tevere has always focused on innovation and therefore it is now specialised also on refitting fibreglass, aluminium and steel boats. Only some examples: in 1990 CNT was chosen to refit an historical boat of 1919 that is to say the Cintra, designed by William Fife. In 2007 CNT was charged to refit the Paolucci, a 30 mt Picchiotti of 1970 which was until 1985 the official boat of the Italian President of the Republic. Thanks to this experience in 2005, CNT decided to launch a new brand: Mustang Marine. The first model, Mustang 38, goes beyond tradition representing a perfect mix between craftsman quality and performance. "Craftsman performance" is assured by workers aware of their experience and their mission and by a hull which has no problem to support the powerful engines and the Surface drive (Jolly Drive), even with rough sea. 44 knots of maximum speed and a fuel consumption of only 80 l/h at cruising speed are features that do not need any further comment. In the last few years, Mustang Marine has become an international success and CNT has implemented its refitting branch becoming a shipyard known worldwide for its design, accuracy and attention to details.
