Modello MAIORA 50

Maiora 50

The Maiora 50, designed by Aldo Cichero, is a very spacious motor yacht, capable of offering high levels of comfrot and a maximum speed of 30 knots. The Maiora 50 followed the Maiora 38, Maiora 45 and Maiora 53, all models that achieved great success for the quality of their construction. The Maiora 50 is the result of a detailed study aimed at researching habitability, with dimensional choices such as to prepare important usable volumes and, let's say, unusual for the 50 'category. Chicero's design includes a complex series of volumes which, due to the cutting of the windows and the proportioning of the parts, creates a highly compact "rising" unit that enhances the aerodynamics and cantilever of the Flying-bridge.

Cantiere FIPA

History

The FIPA ITALIANA YACHTS was founded by Francesco Guidetti and his wife Mirna Santucci at the beginning of the ‘80s in Tuscany. At first, the shipyard was involved in fiberglass works for third parties, and fiberglass hulls and structures, that were soon followed by several acquisitions. In 1985, the shipyard acquired the control of Maiora brand, an icon of prestigious handicraft and one of the first builder of great fiberglass yachts. In order to deal with the requests for larger yachts, in the ‘90s the company acquired the historic Intermare shipyard in Viareggio, with direct access to the sea. In 2001, Fipa acquired AB Yachts shipyard, leader in the production of fast, sport Open boats with water-jet propeller. Fipa Group then began a renewal of models and enlarged its production to yachts from 30 to 45 meters, with a yearly production of about 40 units. Last year, the group ceased its operations and became GP Yachts (80% controlled by Sanlorenzo) was born out of its ashes. The accurate selection of precious materials and handicraft work by the most skilled craftsmen allow Maiora boats to become a masterpiece of excellence. In 2021, the MAIORA brand was acquired by NEXT YACHT GROUP, which also owns AB Yachts and CBI Navi.
