Modello OCEANIS 473 CLIPPER
Oceanis 473 Clipper
The Oceanis 473 Clipper is a 14-meter pure cruising yacht designed by the Finot Studio. The deck layout is intelligently organized, with remarkable interior heights. It favors strong winds and reaching angles. The hand of the Finot studio is immediately noticeable in the design of the stern, which is notably wider than that of its competitors. The coachroof line of the Oceanis 473 Clipper is similar to that of the 393 (a design by Berret Raccopeau), with the stepped window just aft of the mast that distinguishes the new Oceanis generation.
What dominates the design of the Oceanis 473 Clipper are the almost "exaggerated" heights (around 2 meters everywhere) and the brightness/ventilation provided by the 19 portholes and hatches on board. The square area with the large upper window is particularly successful, giving a feeling of greater spaciousness, with the rectangular table, comfortable for dining with six and quickly transforming into the largest berth on board. The cabin dimensions are more than ample.

Cantiere BENETEAU
The historic French shipyard Bénéteau was founded in 1884 in Croix de Vie by Benjamin Bénéteau. At the very beginning, the shipyard manufactured fishing boats called chalutiers. Since the ‘60s, the shipyard started to produce pleasure boats and it has now become the undisputed world leader in the manufacture of sailboats, as well as one of the top five manufacturers of motor yachts in th world. In the 90s, a business strategy aimed at acquiring several important shipyards led to the creation of Bénéteau Group. Among the most prestigious acquisitions we find the following brands: CNB (production of yachts between 60’ and 94’); Jeanneau (sailboats); Prestige line (motor yachts) Lagoon (very famous brands for catamarans) and Monte Carlo Yachts (motor yachts between 65’ and 105’).
