History

Biasi Costruzioni Nautiche shipyard was based in Ostia (Rome) and, from the 70s until the early 90s, it was active as regards the manufacture of sailing boats. All models produced by the shipyard were designed by the naval design firm Sciomachen, by Franco and Ernesto Sciomachen. The yard produced the following models: Biasi Admiral’s Cupper (14.60 m); Domino (11.87 m); Margutte (9.60 m); Rondò (11.99 m); sloop (14.00 m), Sciomaken 42 (12.8 m) and the shipyard's flagship, namely the Morgante 45 (13.68 m), a two-cabin sailboat (one of which has a private bathroom) with spacious and rational interiors, as well as a large square and a sailing area for the IOR version of 102.7 square meters. Biasi shipyard also built handicrafted catamarans, with the project of the Idolo catamaran, of 10.70 meters, produced from 1990 to 2007 in a few examples.
