Camaro 43

The CAMARO 43 is a Fast Commuter Open built by Baia (Naples)-based Gagliotta shipyard until the beginning of the 2000s. Her V-shaped Hunt hull, engines and weight distribution allow the CAMARO 43 to reach full trim very quickly, as well as to guarantee high stability and sea-keeping even at the tightest turns, and to start planing easily. Just like the other Camaro models, the 43 also offers a perfect balance of indoor partitioning and outdoor spaces.

The windscreen splits outdoor spaces in two areas and defines the transition from bow to the cockpit, enclosed by high sides and characterized by large cushions.

Gagliotta - The sipyard

The shipyard was founded in the early 1950s in Naples thanks to the genius of Salvatore Gagliotta, passionate about engines and boating. Not yet thirty, in the tuff caves of Mergellina, he creates the first prototypes of fast boats.   In those years, Salvatore Gagliotta created a series of Hunt-type hulls that will represent, in the following years, the strength of his boats. These hulls, due to their strong innovative charge, immediately attract the young people of Naples, who in addition to the speed and quality of the materials also require high comfort and excellent finishings for their boats.  

In the following years, amateur production was transformed into semi-industrial, keeping the vocation for fast, safe and comfortable boats unchanged and conquering an increasingly large market, helped by the brilliant results achieved in off-shore competitions.

Camaro 43

The CAMARO 43 is an elegant Open that blends excellent performances and a surprising livability for her size. The CAMARO 43 has been undergoing a general refit that’s nearing completion, and that included: new wheelhouse that includes new GPS Garmin touch instruments 2023, new chain counter, new autopilot and new engine ignition keys.

Repainting of sides in dark blue, swim platform and transom, new bands below the windshield, replacement of the windshield with a new dark grey one, cockpit restoration with repainting of outdoor furniture, counterboring of indoor wood floor and matte finish, new floor carpet in cabins, restoration of indoor furniture, repainting of bilges, engine room and partial repainting of Cummins engines (with 400 engine hours); hull optimization, sanding and antifouling.

The CAMARO43 is also equipped with: generator, fridge, gas stove + microwave, bow & stern sundecks, transom and swim ladder, fixed cockpit table. VIEW BROCHURE
