GULF CRAFT
From the surreal beauty of the Arabian Desert to the towering skyscrapers of the city, Dubai, capital of the emirate of the same name, is a fascinating and surprising city, where the ancient traditions of the United Arab Emirates blend with the most modern and original trends of a cosmopolitan destination, characterized from an incredible technological, financial, real estate and tourist ferment.
Dubai and the United Arab Emirates have now become a real world capital of luxury, as demonstrated by the sparkling setting of the city's symbolic buildings, such as the Rotating Tower, a skyscraper that rotates on itself, or the Burj Khalifa, the skyscraper tallest in the world, with its 800 meters; but also in the middle of the sea, such as the famous Burj Al Arab sail-shaped hotel, the only seven-star hotel in the world, or the futuristic projects The palm and The world, a series of islands which, together, respectively take the shape of a palm tree and the world, visible even from space.
In its 40-year history, the growth of the Gulf Craft shipyard has mirrored the unstoppable rise of the United Arab Emirates on the global economic and financial scene, becoming in just a few decades one of the world leaders in the construction of composite hulls.
GULF CRAFT was founded in the UAE in 1982 by Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, along with his brothers Abdullah, Jamal and Dr. Mohammed Hamdan, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, a love for the sea and a firm belief that the long-term success of the nation lay in the manufacturing industry. Under Alshaali’s guidance, Gulf Craft has grown from being a manufacturer of small pleasure craft in 1982, to a yacht manufacturer in 1991 and a globally respected builder of superyachts since 2000.
The first superyacht over 30 m, the Millenium 118, was launched in 2001, while in 2003 Gulf Craft launched the Majestic Yachts product range, building on the Majesty 86 milestone project and driven by the ambitious plan to develop the region’s first full line-up of luxury yachts. The Oryx product line was added in 2006, specializing in sports yachts and open cruisers, while in 2007 the Silverline range was established to represent Gulf Craft’s broad and varied range of smaller family and fishing boats.
In 2012, Gulf Craft launched its largest superyacht ever built: the Majesty 135, followed by the Majesty 105 and its present-day flagship, the Majesty 155. Gulf Craft continues to redefine the on-water living experience with its wide variety of premium craft, ranging from 31 feet to 175 feet in length. Deploying advanced technology, powerful engineering, and timeless design, Gulf Craft builds each creation to meet the diverse requirements of its discerning clientele, transforming travel by sea into a journey worth indulging in.
