The IMX 45 has been under the care of its second owner since 2009, who has used it for cruising and racing. The most recent maintenance and upgrades include: in 2022, a new below-deck furling jib and new Harken mainsail cars, along with new Lazy Bags and diesel pump overhauling. In 2021, the engine was disembarked and overhauled, and new B&G H5000 electronics were installed. In 2020, the batteries were replaced, while in 2019, almost all sails, the engine, batteries, and sail-drive cuff were replaced. In 2018, new interior upholstery was installed, and in 2017, the hull was repainted blue. Between 2010 and 2011, optimization interventions were also carried out on the bulb and rudder blade by Vismara. The IMX 45 is well-equipped with a carbon mast, boom, spinnaker pole and wheel, a removable cockpit table, 4 jumbos, a fridge in the cockpit, and Hi-Fi system
