BALTIC 38

The BALTIC 38 is an outstanding Fast Cruiser known for her construction quality, design, and performance. Built between 1982 and 1985, she was designed by the renowned DOUG PETERSON, featuring a well-proportioned sail plan, light displacement, and a high ballast-to-weight ratio, ensuring both safety and excellent performance. The teak interiors are equally remarkable, with an aft owner’s cabin featuring a central bed for maximum comfort, a spacious dinette, and a forward double cabin for guests. Designed for comfortable cruising yet competitive in regattas, the Baltic 38 is a sought-after choice among sailing enthusiasts, reflecting the construction quality and refinement that define Baltic Yachts.
The BALTIC 38 was launched in 1983. In 2021 a new mainsail was added. In 2018, a new Olympic jib and Code 0 were added, along with dedicated Harken tracks for the jib and new sheets for the Code 0. The nine winches were also overhauled. In 2017, a Webasto heating system was installed, along with a new Raymarine autopilot with remote control and a new engine control panel. The deckhouse & cockpit were repainted, and the teak cockpit was treated with oil. In 2016, the bow and stern pulpits were modified, and a swim platform with a ladder was added. The electronics were upgraded with a new radar, interior and exterior plotters, a new Navtec system, and seven new Raymarine instruments in the cockpit. In 2015, a carbon bowsprit and solar panel were installed, along with a new sail (mainsail, jib, and nylon storm jib). The dinette windows and hatches were replaced, as well as the anchor, sheets, and halyards. The three-blade J-Prop folding thruster also underwent a complete overhaul. VISUALIZZA BROCHURE
