Porto Turistico di Roma

The Porto Turistico di Roma (Rome marina) was opened in 2001 and it is located south of the mouth of the river Tiber, just 10 KM away from Rome Fiumicino “Leonardo Da Vinci” international airport and the majestic ruins of Ancient Ostia, the harbor of Imperial Rome, that in 2020 was awarded the "European Heritage Label" for its great contribution to European history and culture. This is a strategic location to reach Rome’s city centre too, easily reachable in about 30 minutes by car or by train (with the Roma-Lido metropolitan line). From the Porto Turistico di Roma we can reach Anzio and Nettuno (25 miles south), the Pontine Islands (56 miles south), Santa Severa and Santa Marinella (25 miles north), as well as the Argentario promontory, Giglio and Giannutri islands (60 miles north).
