Hallberg Rassy 41

Between 1975 and 1981 only a little more than 100 HALLBERG RASSY 41 were sold. This might seem to be such a small number, if compared to the high volumes reached by more recent models, however we shall take into account that, at that time, yachting was still far from being a popular activity, and that the Hallberg Rassy 41 was not a boat for all. Actually, the HR 41 blended the qualities of a bluewater cruiser with an extensive package of quality accessories and handcrafted interiors. The hull lines of the Hallberg Rassy 41 are optimized for long cruises and guarantee a high route stability, moreover this was the first model with a suitable open stern-to-bow passageway towards the aft cabin. This unit  was subjected to a thorough refit, such as: replacement of rigging in 2019, removal of teak deck and a new grip on deck, as well as replacement of engine in 2005 (just 600 engine hours from then).

The story of the renowned Swedish brand HALLBERG-RASSY began in 1972, when Harry Hallberg and Cristoph Rassy decided to set aside their past rivalry and create what will become one of the most important boating brands worldwide. The first boat born out of their partnership was the Monsum 31, launched in 1974, but it’s only in 1988, when German Frers joined the team as Head of Design, that the shipyard took off. From now on, Hallberg-Rassy boats become the queens of the Cruising sector; not only these boats are safe and suitable for Ocean Sailing, but they are also very performing. Hallberg Rassy manufactured more than 9,400 boats and, currently, 100% of the Group’s companies belong to Rassy family.
