The Sly 42 Fun, introduced at Barcelona’s Yachting Festival in November 2011, was designed by Lostuzzi studio and it is a sporty and innovative model that blends the simplicity of a modern Daysailer to the comfort of a Fast Cruiser. The deck plan of the Sly 42 Fun is characterized by a large cockpit and an innovative and revolutionary hard top on an eletrically-retractable structure. The sail plan with self-tacking jib, the martingale for the Cod 0 and the elongated appendages guarantee high performances and an easy handling with medium-light wind. The construction characteristics of the Sly 42 Fun were developed to achieve the best performance and a higher structural rigidity. Interiors are elegant and refined, with hand-crafted wooden finishing and an original layout with a spacious Open Space from the dinette to the bow cabin, as well as a stern double cabin and a bathroom with separated shower enclosure.

This unit is very accessorized and well kept, with full external cushions both on seats and in the cockpit and stern sun deck, full external cover (awning), electrical winches near the wheels, retractable bow thruster, Gunmetal grey hull (wrapping 2017). Ready to sail.

The Sly Marine SRL, owned by Trevisani family, acquired Sly Yachts brand in 2010, kept the production in the historic shipyard in Cesena (northern Italy) and guaranteed the continuity with the core values of what used to be a renowned brand for high-quality sailboats (such as the Sly 61 and Sly 42). In 2013, the Trevisani family also acquired the Cantiere del Pardo from the German group Bavaria Yachtbau, thus uniting two historical brands like Grand Soleil and Sly Yachts within one group: Cantiere del Pardo SpA. The last model manufactured under the Sly brand was the Sly 43, introduced at Cannes Yachting Festival in 2013. View the Sly 42 Fun
